These arches, lining Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, is so much more than a hallway to me. These bricks have seen as far back as World War I, and were staring out across the Golden Gate, before the bridge to Marin County was even built. The canon tracks that line this walkway, tell a story of ages past, and protecting our homeland. I love the way the sun has showcased these majestic arches by painting each surface with with its own luminance.
